Thursday, March 8th, 10 o’clock in Piatra Neamt took place the regional conference and workshop “Importance of partnerships at local and regional level in the sustainable development of rural areas, organized by ANTREC Neamt as partner and SC RGIC CONSULTANTA SRL as beneficiary within the project “Human resource, a valuable investment in the Romanian rural tourism!” ID 36694 co financed by the European Social Fund through the Sectoral Operational Program Human Resources Development 2007-2013.
The conference and workshop are part of the activities for information and promotion of the project whose objective is the development of human resources in the field of rural tourism.
The project, which started in August 2009 will unfold until August this year and aims to realize trainings for 830 people from rural areas in the Regions Nord West, North East , West, South Muntenia and center which were selected from a target group of 2030 people. the trainees are employees and also unemployed or people occupied in subsistence agriculture. The beneficiaries will take part in trainings for the occupations boarding house administrator, cook, maid and waiter.
Within the conference and workshop the Importance of partnerships al local and regional level in the sustainable development of rural areas there were debated strategic partnerships that ANTREC Neamt as regional coordinator could close with city halls, county boards, agencies for employment, tourism agencies, NGOs and other relevant institutions from North East region.
The conference and workshop were attended by representatives of local authorities and nonprofit organizations which activate in North East region and have as main activity rural tourism or the development of human resources, as well as local actors on the rural tourism market: cottage owners and boarding houses in the region.
Mrs. Otilia Manta, project manager, highlighted once again the role of the partnerships concluded during the implementation period of the project and also the regional center for the coordination of services for human resources development in rural area in Neamt County. “The partnerships concluded by ANTREC Neamt with institutions and local actors, public or private, involved in local tourism and in the development of human resources are extremely useful in the implementation of a large project such as ours and are relevant through their number and mostly through the quality of its partners. Efficient communication and collaboration between partners leads to reaching the project objectives and also to long term continuation of the project, because an interregional network is formed, of organizations which have an important role in increasing the quality of professional competences at local and regional level”.
