The Commercial Office of Israeli Embassy to Bucharest together with the Romanian Group for Investments and Consultancy (RGIC) and the Israeli Institute for Export and International Cooperation in Tel Aviv organize between March 30 and April 4, 2011 a professional tour for the presentation of Israeli agro technologies in the field of greenhouses.
The Romanian delegation to take part in this tour consists of 16 businessmen and farmers who will have the opportunity to visit several greenhouses in different regions of Israel, as well as companies that provide services including design, engineering and production of greenhouses, but also turnkey technology for greenhouses and irrigation systems.
The professional tours in the north, central and southern regions of Israel include visits to companies such as Rizk Alla Brothers, Teshuva Agricultural Projects, NaanDan Jain and Azrom Greenhouses.
This study visit is one of the activities of the Integrated Program for greenhouses of 200 ha in Romania – initiated and organized through the Shavit Romania Program – the result of a partnership between the Romanian Group for Investments and Consultancy (RGIC), the Israeli Institute for Export and International Cooperation in Tel Aviv and the Economic and Commercial Department of the Embassy of Israel in Romania. The Integrated Program for greenhouses of 200 ha in Romania provides integrated solutions for greenhouses, technical assistance, Israeli equipment and technology for greenhouses, financial and sales consultancy for a period of 5 years and export.
Regarding this event, Mrs. Otilia Manta, President/ CEO RGIC, declared: “This visit follows other activities within the Shavit Romania Program: Romanian-Israeli business forums, professional tours, specialized trade shows and fairs in Israel and Romania. At the same time, through this activity we accomplish the main objectives of the Shavit Program - to generate partnerships between Romanian and Israeli companies in order to contribute to an advanced agriculture in Romania and to encourage future Israeli investments in Romanian agriculture”.
