The Business Press Group has recently organized the conference with the theme "Attracting funding and investments in the agricultural field – optimum solution for rebounding the Romanian economy".
On this occasion, the Business Press Agricol 2010 Magazine awards were handed – excellence awards for companies in the agricultural field. This manifestation, an important project for rebounding, supporting and developing the Romanian agriculture, was attended by Adrian Radulescu, State secretary within the Ministry of Agriculture and Cornelia Mohai, general manager of the Management authority PNDR, as well as by representatives of agricultural directions and institutions, agricultural chambers and professional associations, managers of companies in the agricultural field.
Due to intense and constant preoccupations in the field of agriculture, Ms Otilia Manta President/CEO of Grupul Roman pentru Investitii si Consultanta (RGIC) received, on this occasion, the Business Press Agricol 2010 Award for the "elaboration, implementation and supervising of European funds In the agricultural field".
The declaration of Ms Otilia Manta reasserts that Romania has the capacity to build a sustainable agriculture by attracting investments and European funding, through an effort between authorities and farmers: "On short term, the priority is to elaborate a strategy at national level regarding the absorption of European funds and, on long term, building a strategy which defines the directing lines that the national agriculture should develop, of course in full concordance with the objectives of joint Agricultural Policies. At the definition of these strategies should participate all the actors involved in the process of European funds absorption: ministry, national agencies with attributions in the field, consultancy companies and, also, farmers."
